Man Child upon waking up from "rest time":

Mom, I stink. I am gross. I hate gross. I need to pee pee and fart in the potty.

No kidding.

loma: Loma is my quarter-porter (aka. Puerto Rican) code name. It pays homage to the genetic code which programmed me to be quick tempered and bossy, and incapable of dyeing my hair blonde without it turning orange. I have passed the ATTITUDE on (but not the coloring disability) to my own daughter, the wonderful and brillant but self-professed 11-year old drama queen. We rule our little world and the unfortunate males who live in it: my long-suffering hubby (to be known as "the king" or "t.g.s.m.a."- try to figure that one out!); son numero uno, a.k.a the only 8 year old whose favorite tv show is Nova (code name fox); and the gigantic whirling tempest that is our youngest, "the man child". Go estrogen!
